Yurts!

My girlfriend Heike and I recently took a short vacation on the Cali coast; something we greatly enjoy. On this particular trip, we headed south through Monterey and Big Sur, ultimately ending up on the central coast. We stayed at place called Treebones, which is a grouping of nicely outfitted yurts. More luxurious than a tent, but not quite a hotel room. They are on the ocean, so the views were terrific.
When on the central coast, one should always check in on the sea lions. At the time of our visit, only the males were present. They were beginning the moult and sparring a bit in preparation for the return of the females and the subsequent mating season.
