What defines stupidity?

Biologists and psychologists have attempted, with their own criteria and methods, to define stupidity. Is it a matter of IQ? Anyone scoring below 80 on a standard test, for example? Since IQ is a continuum, how does one arrive at such a number? Is the method of measurement accurate and fair?

This brilliant thesis takes an entirely different approach. It categorizes a person by their actions and the results of those actions. It's pretty tongue-in-cheek and quite humorous, but it's also supremely logical.

A former colleague showed me this paper back in the late 80s, but since someone has had the good sense to put it on the web, I thought I'd present it to my friends and readers. Learn from it!
(P.S. -- Don't worry, it's not another political/cultural rant.)
